Discovering Hana's Craft By The Hummusapiens in Berlin
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Berlin at Skalitzer Str. 36, 10999, Hana's Craft By The Hummusapiens stands as a testament to the art of mindful eating and culinary creativity. This establishment has carved out a unique space within the bustling Kreuzberg district, offering a sanctuary for those who appreciate the intersection of traditional techniques and modern, plant-forward gastronomy. The atmosphere is intentionally curated to reflect a balance between urban energy and a warm, welcoming environment, making it a destination for both locals and travelers seeking an authentic dining experience.
At its core, the philosophy of the restaurant revolves around the celebration of simple, high-quality ingredients transformed through patience and craftsmanship. The team behind the counter approaches every dish with a deep respect for the origins of their components, ensuring that each plate tells a story of flavor and texture. It is not merely a place to eat, but a space where the culinary process is transparent, inviting guests to connect with the food they consume on a more meaningful level. Whether you are stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal, the focus remains consistently on the integrity of the craft.
What Sets Hana's Craft Apart
Commitment to Artisanal Preparation: Every element served at the restaurant is prepared with a focus on artisanal methods. By prioritizing scratch-made components, the kitchen ensures that the nuances of every ingredient are preserved, resulting in a depth of flavor that is often lost in mass-produced alternatives.
A Thoughtful Approach to Plant-Based Cuisine: The menu is designed to highlight the versatility of plant-based ingredients. Rather than relying on processed substitutes, the culinary team focuses on elevating vegetables, legumes, and grains through careful seasoning and innovative cooking techniques that appeal to a wide range of palates.
Community-Centric Atmosphere: Located in the iconic Skalitzer Straße, the restaurant serves as a hub for the local community. The layout and service style are designed to foster interaction and comfort, creating an inviting space that feels like an extension of the neighborhood itself.
Focus on Sustainable Sourcing: The establishment places a high value on the provenance of its ingredients. By working closely with suppliers who share a commitment to quality and environmental stewardship, the restaurant maintains a standard of excellence that resonates through every dish served.
The culinary landscape of Berlin is vast and ever-changing, yet Hana's Craft By The Hummusapiens manages to retain a distinct identity by staying true to its foundational values. The dedication to quality, combined with a genuine passion for the craft of cooking, creates an experience that lingers long after the meal is finished. It is this unwavering focus on the essentials—fresh ingredients, skilled preparation, and a welcoming spirit—that defines the essence of the restaurant.
As you navigate the diverse food scene of the city, finding a spot that balances innovation with comfort can be a rewarding endeavor. Hana's Craft invites you to slow down and appreciate the subtle complexities of well-prepared food. Whether you are a long-time resident of Kreuzberg or simply passing through the neighborhood, a visit to this location offers a refreshing perspective on what it means to dine with intention. We invite you to experience the dedication and warmth that define our kitchen, and we look forward to sharing our passion for craft-driven cuisine with you.
In a world that often prioritizes speed, choosing to support establishments that emphasize the time-honored traditions of food preparation is a meaningful choice. Hana's Craft By The Hummusapiens remains committed to this path, continuously refining its offerings while maintaining the core values that have made it a respected name in the local culinary community. We believe that the best meals are those shared in good company, and we are proud to provide the setting for such moments. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for valuing the craft that goes into every single plate we serve.

Very popular Korean restaurant, offering a very "Berliner" experience. If you fancy eating in a garage, this is the place for you. Weird red lights and literal garage atmo. The food is nothing special, the kimchi is lame. Overpriced for a … More

Had a great time at this Korean restaurant as they serve quite authentic Korean food. However, it gets very noisy, and the ventilation can be improved. All the smoke coming out of everyone’s bbq is trapped inside, which made it difficult to breathe. The banchan (side dishes) and the soup were delicious, but the bulgogi was a bit dry.

Very good Korean restaurant in Kreuzberg with a lovely atmosphere. I don’t go often as it’s on the pricier side, but it certainly lives up to its expectations. Can also be hard to get at table as a walk-in, but haven’t tried reserving before.

Hello. Friends brought us to this Korean restaurant. We booked a table in advance, as the place is very, very popular! Of all the Korean barbecue restaurants in Berlin, they love this one, and I was convinced why! The waiters are very fast and responsive. Very tasty spectacular dishes! The sauces and appetizers exceeded expectations! I really liked the food and the service! BUT it is very noisy inside! Not all guests were comfortable because of the hum of people! I sure i am back

Kimchi Princess in Berlin was one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had! It’s a Korean BBQ where you cook the meat yourself at the table, and I loved the whole setup and presentation. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the side dishes were amazing, everything was full of flavor. A fun, delicious, and unforgettable dining experience. Definitely a 5-star spot!

We ordered BBQ beef and hot spicy chicken. We just waited a few min in line. Despite it being dinner time and the restaurant being quite busy, the service was very fast. We enjoyed both dishes a lot, especially the chicken and its sauce, which were exceptionally tasty. We sat inside, and although there was a lot of BBQ smoke, it wasn't bothersome. Overall, we liked everything we ate. The only negative point I can mention is that we ordered one portion of BBQ beef, but two portions were served. When we asked for a correction, we were told it wasn’t possible. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
